The Lord made covenant with Joshua and told him, “Everywhere you put the sole of your foot, I will give it to you…Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:3;10).
As I am writing this, my son is having an absolute meltdown in the backseat. We moved from private to public school this and his adjustment has been a little more bumpy than has his sister’s.
On our way to school every morning, we pray over our day – we start with gratitude, pray for the requests of others, ask God to reveal how we can bless others and give us the power to do so.
Currently, the boy is not focusing on being his best.
And, the Word promises that He will be with us. Everywhere we go we bring his grace, strength, power, love, joy and presence with us – even if His attributes are temporarily obliterated by life’s circumstances…
Or the sound of tantrumy whining in one’s ear.
Be encouraged today that God’s Word will not return void. Big or small, whatever battle you are facing, keep speaking life over it, declaring victory, and thanking God in advance that He has already gone before you!
